1- How can I be sure that the payment has been received & processed?
Licensing information will be sent to you within 48 hours from the system automatically. Also, the participant list is declared on the web site and it is updated once per week.
2- What does VAT mean?
It is the acronym for Value Added Tax. And it is a tax that we are not obliged to pay.
The participants who did the payment on September 14 and 15 (Pacific time) were charged for VAT due to a problem on the Plimus side. After our contact, they confirmed the mistake and stopped charging for VAT. There are two ways to get the VAT back:
1- You may apply to the concerning institutions.
2- Plimus will refund the whole amount. Please note do not forget to repay the amount, excluding the VAT. In most of the cases, Plimus automatically refund the money without any notice. It means your registration is cancelled. We advise you to follow our registration list which we declare via our web site and your bank accounts, till finalizing your registration.
3- How long does it take to refund my money? How can I be sure that I got the refund?
It usually takes between a couple of days to one month, at most. We advise you to check your bank account occasionally and contact with Plimus.
4- If I want to change my sightseeing tour, what am I going to do?
From the main page, please enter your password & user name to login. In the related page, you may make the change, and pay for the difference. Please note that you need to contact us about the change, if you had made any payment before.
5- I would like to attend two or three tours, is that possible?
All the sightseeing tours are on Saturday, so you can pick only one of the alternatives.
6- What is the deadline for payment?
It is actually the 1st of February but we advise you to register as soon as possible, as we have limited capacities for sightseeing tours and the rooms(double/triple). Indeed, earlier payment means to save money.
7- I paid through the plimus.com page by credit card for that full moon package but I did not see the option to select the "add-on" double room. So, my payments are made for a full moon package in a 3-bed room (175 €), but i registered for a double room (195 €). As I want to keep the double room, what do I have to do?
You need to pay 20€ per person as double room extra accordingly you may manage to get a double room. Please also kindly enter the web site and assign your roommate. If the system does not permit you to change your details, please contact us. Please also note that we have limited number of double room so we advise you to register as soon as possible. After a while, you will not have the double room option, system will automatically be closed.
8- I would like to stay more in Turkiye, Istanbul. Can you help me?
Yes! We are going to advise few suitable hotels in the following weeks. Also, sending an email to attendtravel (at) euco2009istanbul .org about your plans would really help us.
9- Are there any low-cost flights?
If you send us the details (dates, preferred departure times and the airports), we can
find a suitable one.
